    In a pan fry 1 cup bomby rava on a low flame till slightly changs its color, keep aside..In a pan heat 1 tbsp Ghee n fry cashewnut nd raisins.now add fried rava and fry 4 a while,add priviously boiled (1/2 cup water n 1/2 cup milk+1/4 cup chopped dates+lil kesar).stirr well,cover n swich off d flame..after 2 min add 1 cup suger n mix thoroughly..when it leave d sides add 2 tbs ghee n stir ..finally add cardamom powdr n serve hot..

  2. Nan Katai - 2

    Makes 55 Shashi

    3 cups Maida (plain Flour)
    1 cup sugar Powdered
    1 cup melted ghee ( made by melting butter till clear and drained and cooled )
    1 pinch yelchi pdr (cardamom )
    1/2 baking powder

    Sieve Maida, sugar, yelchi, baking soda together.
    Add ghee little at a time and prepare a soft dough.
    Keep aside for 4 -5 hours.

    Line a a tray with parchment paper

    Pre heat oven to gas mark 4, 180oC, 300F

    Make smooth balls and slightly flatten and place them on the tray keeping good gaps between each ball.
    Bake for 40 mins.

    Remove from oven and cool for 10 mins.
    Then remove and transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.

    Store in an airtight container.

  3. CARAMEL CAKE:)))
    RECIPE:take 1 cup butter n 11/2 cup sugar pdr n beat well. take 4 egg white n beat it, mix with butter sugar mixture. add 2 cups maida seived with 1/2 tsp cooking soda n pinch of salt.add 1 tsp vanilla essence n 3 tblsp caramel , mix well n bake at 150 degrees for 30 to 40 mins.
    caramel:in kadai take 1 cup sugar n stir it till it becomes dark brown syrup. when it turns into dark brown add 3/4 cup water n boil for 5 mins n cool it.

  4. GODDA/CHEPPI SURNALI

    Recipe :wash 2 cup dosa rice n drain.Now soak the rice n lil methi seeds in 1 & 1/2 cup curds for 2 hrs.
    Grind the above mixture with adding salt,2 cup grated coconut,1 cup crushed jaggery n 2 handful poha to a smooth paste.(don't add water as the batter consistency should be thick.)keep it for atleast 7-8 hrs for fermentation.
    nxt day add pinch of baking soda.aftr 15 minutes heat the non stick pan,pour ladleful batter on to tawa ,(don't spread the batter)cover the lid n cook on low flame.u can see small dimples all over n its cooked only one side.hawt surnalis goes well with fresh butter.
    don't add jaggery for cheppi surnalis.

  5. CARROT HALWA..

    rate 1 kg, carrots...In a kadai heat 1 tsp ghee fry the chopped cashews n remove on the plate.. in the remaining ghee fry raisins n remove it too.. now add the chopped badams n fry n add the grated carrots fry for a while.. now add 1 lt. whole milk ( do not remove the cream ) n bring it to boil n simmer let it cook n when done add sugar according to your taste..make it almost dry...lastly add cardamom n clove pd. n mix in the fried cashews n raisins.. As u add the whole milk this gives the khova consistency n no need to add extra ghee...enjoy

    RECIPE : 1 CUP GRATED COCONUT, LIL SALT, 8 - 10 JACKFRUIT PIECES [gharo] , JAGGERY -GRIND THIS TO FINE PASTE.......ADD 1/2 CUP WASHED IDLI RAVA TO THIS N STEAM IT..............FOR THE SAME PASTE U CAN ADD BOMBAY RAVA N MAKE MULIK.....

  7. CASHEWNUT COOKIES
    Recipe : 100 gms maida, 2-3 tbsp finely chopped cashew nuts , 75 gms butter softened, 50 gms sugar powder, 2-3 drops almond Essence or vanilla essence. Method: sieve flour, Preheat oven to 200 degree C . Beat butter and sugar very well until light and creamy, add essence and beat again. Add flour and mix gently to form a soft dough. Form into balls and roll into chopped cashews, flatten slightly. Arrange on a greased tray keeping 1" apart. Bake in a pre heated oven for 15 - 20 mts. Remove from tray when slightly cold.

  8. RAS MALAI

    first boil 2 litres of milk for 20-25 minutes on a small flame until it reduces a bit. Then add chopped pistachios (unsalted of course), chopped almonds, a few saffron strands soaked in milk, cardamom powder a pinch and boil it for 3-4 minutes. Add 400g (i.e. 1 tin) of sweetened condensed milk. When it starts to boil, lower the flame and add properly squeezed readymade rasgullas. Boil it for 3-4 minutes and chill before serving.
    By the way adjust the volume of condensed milk according to your taste. This recipe is for 1 tin of haldirams rasgullas i.e. 14 rasgullas.

  9. Moong dal khichdi recipe :

    Moong dal 1cup
    White rice ¾ cup
    Coconut grated 1cup
    Jaggery 1cup
    Ghee 2to3tbsp
    cardamom powder 1/2tsp
    dry fruits (optional)
    small banana 2or 3


    Method :- Dry fry the moong dal till light brown colour then add it to white rice and wash . cook this mix in 3 and a half cups of water for 3 to 4 whistles in a pressure cooker..
    heat thick bottom pan add jaggery and ½cup water make thick syrup.. then add grated coconut mix it for 2 to 3 min then add cooked rice and dal mix and 2tbsp of ghee..mix it well till its becomes thick. Add cardamom powder and mix it well. Grease a plate with ghee. Pour the mixture on it and spread evenly..then decorate it with banana rings.

  10. Microwave Eggless Oreo Biscuit Cake Ingredients :
    1 large packet and 1 small packet of oreo biscuits (19 pairs, 38 biscuits in total)
    1 cup milk
    3/4 tsp Eno
    3 tbsp sugar

    Method:
    Crush the biscuits roughly. [Do not remove the cream]. Transfer to a blender. Add the other ingredients and blend into a smooth paste.
    Grease a microwave safe dish liberally with butter, oil or ghee. Transfer the cake batter. Microwave for 5 minutes.

    [If you wish to invert the cake, let it cool for 30 minutes.]

    You can top the cake with sugar powder. Just take some powdered sugar in a strainer and splash it all over the cake.

    Recipe
    1 cup rice flour
    1 tblspn roast urad dal powder
    2 tblspn butter/ margarine
    1 teaspoon chanadal(HURI KADLE )
    2 tblspn groundnuts
    1/2 tspn red chili powder
    Salt to taste
    2 sprigs curry leaves
    Mix all the above with hand.slowly add water and knead to get a soft dough
    Shape into balls and squish the ball to make disc shaped nippattu n deep fry
